Request for Continued Farm-to-School Funding
The Sustainable Whatcom Fund Advisory Committee of the Whatcom Community Foundation (WCF)
invites you to apply for continued funding for developing farm-to-school capacity. The Committee is
interested in helping applicants that were funded in previous grant rounds to take their projects to the next

sustainability in the years ahead.

modified to meet your objectives.
2. Show that your pilot project has begun to have an impact on one or more of the following

Increased education of staff, students, and parents about the benefits of eating locally
produced healthy foods
e. Increased sales of school lunches that include local products, thus increasing the economic
viability of school meal program.
