From 101 South take hwy 25 (Hollister East Pinnacles), continue left on Hwy 25 South for 8.4 miles. Turn right at Hwy
156 (San Juan Bautista exit), continue 3.3 miles to the first stoplight. Turn left on Business Route 156. Turn left at the stop
sign. Continue 1 mile. Merge to the right hand turn lane. Field is on the right. Marked Hollister Speedway Go Kart Track.
Drive into the fenced off parking area. Do NOT continue on the private dirt roads. From I-5 either direction take 152 West
towards Gilroy. Exit Hwy 156 Hollister. Continue until business Route 156 and follow the directions above. From 101
North exit Hwy 156 Hollister. After the second stoplight merge right towards Hollister. Proceed one mile. Field is on the
right.

7:30 a.m. until completion.
8:00 AM followed by the draw.
Ribbons:1st through NBQ. Rosettes for BOB & BiF. Trophy for BIF.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
.Only purebred Afghans, Azawakhs, Basenjis, Borzoi, Cirneco
dell’Etna, Greyhounds, Ibizans, Irish Wolfhounds, Italian Greyhounds,
Pharaoh Hounds, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Salukis, Scottish
Deerhounds, Sloughi and Whippets may be entered in the regular
stakes. Limited and provisional breeds currently include purebred Chart
Polski, Galgo Espanol, Magyar Agar, Peruvian inca Orchid, and
Portuguese Pogengo, Silken Windhounds. All entries in the regular
stakes shall abe individually registered with the AKC, NGA, the United
Kennel Club, the Federation Cynologique Internationale, an ASFA
recognized foreign or ASFA board approved registry,or posssess a
CRN from the SPDBS. Limited and or Provisional entries shall be
individually registered with the appropriate registry. Breed
disqualifications will apply. Entries will not be acknowledged by mail or
telephone.

Open: Any eligible sighthound that has met certification requirements,
excluding ASFA Field Champions of Record. Field Champion: Any ASFA
Field Champion. Veteran: Any eligible sighthound 6 years of age or older (5
years for Wolfhounds, 7 years for whippets & Rhodesian Ridgebacks), that
has met certification requirements. Singles: Any eligible sighthound
including those disqualified to run in other stakes. Limited Stake: any
eligible sighthound of a Limited or Provisional stake breed that has met
certification requirements. Best In Field will be Offered.
All entries must be one year or older on the day of the trial. First time entries
must include a photocopy of registration (except NGA Greyhounds). Stakes
will be split if the entry in any one stake is 20 or more at the time of the draw.
Hounds will run twice, in trios if possible, or braces, unless excused,
dismissed or disqualified. Bitches in season, hounds with breed
disqualifications, and lame hounds will be excused at roll call. Spayed,
neutered, monorchid and cryptorchid hounds without breed disqualifications
may be entered; hounds with breed disqualifications are not eligible to enter
except in the Singles Stake. Hounds not present at time of roll call will be
scratched. Hound certifications will be offered after the trial. Late, incomplete,
unsigned, unpaid, or conditional entries will not be accepted. Trial will be held
regardless of weather conditions. If this is the hound’s first ASFA trial a
signed ASFA Certification or Wavier must be included (not required for
Single Stake). A photocopy of the hound’s individual registration from
an acceptable registry must also be included, NGA Greyhounds are
exempt. All hounds must have a registration number or your entry will
not be accepted. Persons exhibiting unsportsman like conduct
detrimental to ASFA, this club, any hound or other person will be asked
to leave the trial site.
EQUIPMENT:
A battery powered, continuous loop system will be used with white or colored plastic
streamers and/or fur for the lure. Back-up equipment will be available.
COURSE PLAN: The club reserves the right to alter the course plan as required by
weather and/or field conditions on the day of the Trial.
Course Plan: 625 yds. Course will be reversed for finals, runoffs and BOB.
