CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANTS, MEDICAL ASSISTANTS AND NURSES
 The state of Kansas NOW REQUIRES 12 hours per year of continuing education on x-ray
technology for non-licensed individuals who perform x-ray procedures under licensed
supervision (KAR-100-73-9).
 This 12-hour course includes radiation safety procedures, radiographic positioning, normal
radiographic anatomy, positioning of patients and troubleshooting for bad radiographs.
 Improved image quality provides improved diagnostic accuracy of radiographic interpretation
and refined x-ray procedures reduce patient exposure to ionizing radiation.
This course is presented by Dr. Steven J. Gould, D.C., D.A.C.B.R
