What is more important to you- to dislike your job and earn a lot of money or, on the contrary, enjoy your work and earn less money ? Did the school prepare you well for the future studies / job ? How are you going to celebrate your passing the graduation exam ? What are your plans for this year holiday ? Have you got any part-time job for summer ? Would you like to get married one day ? Make a list of your priorities ( values, the most important things) in your life. And compare it with your middleaged teacher´s one. Teacher: -to be still alive (you live only once, there is not another chance) -to be healthy (being ill limits everything in your life) -to have a family (can´t imagine life without children whatever they are) - to love (not only other people but yourself too) -to be loved (by at least one creature) -to be independent (which only a good fortune can guarantee) -to be useful -to have a clean conscience -to have some reliable friends (at least one) and last but not least -to be ready to accept anything that life brings What do you fear ? (You can compare with your teacher again.) - a loss of someone close to me - helplessness (not only in the physical sense of the word) - serious disease (especially mental) - poverty - violence - premature death - stupid people (they not only get on my nerves but also can be extremely dangerous) What / Who do you respect most of all ? - decent, modest, educated, brave people - top scientists (only they can heal or save the world and the mankind) Can you describe the “generation gap“ (the gap between adults and teenagers) ? In what way is the lifestyle of the teenage generation different from the lifestyle of the grown-up generation ? ( fashion, music, films, eating habits, language, hobbies, hairstyle, bad habits ...) Do you get on well with your parents ? Is there anything you would change in your life ?
