THE VENUE: We are the home for Auckland’s most adventurous emerging artists. We collaborate with an artistic mix-tape of theatre makers, dancers, visual artists, poets, musicians, comedians and everyone in between. We are a safe place to be experimental, brave and innovative and provide an affordable independent venue for hire for local talent and fresh work. SUBMISSION CRITERIA: - We are calling for full-length works from 50 minutes in length - We accept submissions anytime but there are seasonal deadlines for you to work towards. What We Like: o o o International work (please be aware places are limited) A clear marketing strategy that shows awareness of a target market A funding/investment strategy and well-considered budget What We’re Not So Into: o o o o Established work with seasoned professionals who belong at a more commercial venue One person involved in the work with no one else on board (you can’t do everything and do it well!) Amateur or Pro-Am theatre groups looking for a space Private/corporate functions or non-artistic events SUPPORT MATERIAL: Please attach a copy of the script. If script is unfinished/under construction please provide at least a 10 page sample. If your piece is devised, please provide a detailed story outline (we understand this may change) If major changes to a project such as change in text, director, producer, actors etc occur we will need to reassess the submission.
