7:00 pm Town Hall, Selectmen’s Meeting Room
7:00 RDA – Great Barrington Parks and Recreation Department; filed by The
Town of Great Barrington. Proposed work is to replenish the sand (2-4 truckloads of
beach sand) at the Lake Mansfield Beach Area. The sand will be graded using a York
rake.
7:05 RDA – 156 Castle Hill Avenue SMA; filed by Gary Happ. Proposed work is to
clear invasives, vines, fallen trees and debris.
7:10 NOI – Maple Ave., Map 30, Lot 45, DEP File #167-0343; filed by George
Beebe, continued. The proposed project will provide flood protection and bank
stabilization along approximately 600 feet of the left bank of the Green River while
providing excess compensatory flood storage.
7:20 NOI – 0 Brookside Drive, Map 38/Lot 15, DEP File #167-0326; filed by the
Institute for Living Judaism – continued. The proposed work is to dredge material from
Camp Eisner Pond. The affected resource areas are bordering Vegetated Wetlands,
Bank, Land Under Water, Riverfront Area and Bordering Land Subject to Flooding.
7:30 NOI – 164 Castle Hill Avenue; filed by Judd and Susan Shoval. Proposed work
includes the installation of a boat rack and gazebo located within the 100; buffer zone,
buffer zone vegetation removal and replacement and resource area improvements.
7:40 NOI – 164 Castle Hill Avenue, SMA #7; filed by Judd and Susan Shoval.
Proposed work is the re-vegetation of native plants in the resource area and buffer zone
along with the installation of a boat rack and a 10’x12’gazebo.
7:50 RDA - 15 Berkshire Heights; filed by Saul Nirenberg. Proposed work includes
the construction of a new drive with an associated wall, and the removal of the existing
gravel drive. Some of the proposed work falls within the buffer zone of wetlands.
7:55 Request for Amendment to OCC 440-444 Stockbridge Road, DEP File #1670344; filed by Community Health Program. Proposed changes include the construction
of a concrete pad for a carport, the construction of 3 parking spaces, and the importing of
topsoil to level the playground areas. To offset the proposed increase of impervious area,
the buffer zone enhancement areas will be increased to a total of 5,380 s.f.
8:00 NOI – Lake Buel Road, Kutsher’s Sports Academy. The project consists of
the installation of a public water supply well, supply line and permanent access drive.
Work falls within the buffer zone of an intermittent stream and wetlands and involves the
crossing of an intermittent stream.
