EcoProcura 2012 (19 - 21 September in Malmö, Sweden)
Call for Contributions
The EcoProcura 2012 call for contributions is now open for the Market Lounge
Sessions of the programme. The call is open to the following types of organisation
working on the topic of sustainable public procurement (SPP) and public procurement
of innovation (PPI):





Local, national and regional governments
Public authorities such as universities, hospitals, schools, emergency services,
Businesses, suppliers, manufacturers
Scientific / research organisations
Stakeholders working on SPP and PPI
Proposals can be submitted until 27 April 2012, by returning your completed form to:
ecoprocura2012@iclei.org.
Contributions will be selected based on the extent to which they fit with the objectives
of the conference. Examples of the types of contributions we are looking for on SPP
(green and social) and PPI include: good practice from public authorities, new
solutions from suppliers, the latest research, guidance and tools designed to improve
practices.
This is your place to offer advice and directly engage with the sustainable
procurement community.

The EcoProcura Market Lounge format
The EcoProcura Market Lounge allows for procurement practitioners, legal experts,
businesses and policy makers to showcase their work and allow small groups to
have in-depth discussion.
The Market Lounge session will take place on two different occasions during the
conference:
 Wednesday 19 September 2012, between 15:30 - 17:00
 Friday 21 September 2012, between 10:00 - 11:00
The room is arranged as a series of 20-25 round tables. At each one of these tables
a contributor will present their topic and will have three 25 minute slots on
Wednesday and two 25 minute slots on Friday. Each slot will include a 10 minute
presentation followed by 15 minutes of questions.
Please note that Market Lounge presentations should be presented in English and
contributors will be required to bring their own laptop should they want to undertake a
PowerPoint presentation.

The deadline for contributions is 27 April 2012.
I am / the person proposed is willing to act as a contributor on the understanding that
speakers, apart from exceptional cases, shall pay the conference fee and will not be
reimbursed for travel or accommodation costs. If selected I agree to send a summary of my
contribution to be included in the programme. I am aware that this Call does not release me
