Miss Carolina Lily Talent Pageant Announces First Winner
Anthony Dowling, Executive Director for Eno River Media Production, headquartered in Durham, NC
announced Wednesday afternoon that Sarah Drury of Beaufort, NC won the Miss Carolina Lily Talent
Pageant of 2010.
Out of a group of 7 women who applied, Sarah stood out as a great example of talent from North Carolina
and demonstrated unwavering support for recycling and environmental conservation.
The mission of the Miss Carolina Lily Talent Pageant is to promote health, fitness and inner beauty among
women of all ethnic groups while producing positive role models for the community; to develop women that
will promote self-confidence, self-worth, moral, academic and social support for our youth; and to recognize
and support sustainable green initiative within our state.
About Sarah Drury
Sarah is a native of Beaufort, North Carolina and calls Greenville home. She is a graduate of East Carteret
High School in 2010 and is currently attending East Carolina University.
Sarah has a great yearning for knowledge and the arts. Her passion for theatre, film, television and video is
only surpassed by her care for her family.
Sarah has been a lifelong advocate of recycling and green technology.
Sarah joined ERMP in early Spring of 2010.
Why a Green Initiative Pageant?
Champions of the Green Movement advocate the sustainable management of resources and stewardship of
the environment through changes in public policy and individual behavior. In its recognition of humanity as a
participant in (not enemy of) ecosystems, the movement is centered on ecology, health, and human rights.
Eno River Media Production projects promote and support, through a variety of media, North Carolina's
unique arts community, non-profit organizations and the positive entrepreneurial spirit found in diverse
communities throughout our state. Our name propels our organization to follow a green sustainable program
where possible in our industry. With each of our projects, ERMP’s purpose is to strengthen and promote the
entertainment industry. A well-run and locally managed pageant highlighting the green movement can
achieve both goals.
About Eno River Media Production
Eno River Media Production is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) company located in the heart of the North Carolina
piedmont. It was established in 1999 as a vehicle for highlighting local nonprofit organizations, musicians,
artists and creative entrepreneurs. Their mission is to promote and support North Carolina’s unique arts
community, non-profit organizations and positive entrepreneurial spirit through a variety of media.
