This agreement is for the sale of a (Male or Female) Border Collie Puppy. Sold with full
registration.
Born August 9, 2004, Black and White with the following markings:

Sire: ADCH, NATCH, Lukan’s Don’t Stop Me Now, AX, AXJ, CD (OFA Good, CERF
clear, BAER Normal)
Dam: Top Gun’s Kit (OFA Good, PENN Hip scored, CERF clear, BEAR Normal)
Buyer will pay the sum of $1,000.00 less any paid deposit. Buyer will be responsible for
all shipping costs including crate.
Breeders will register litter with the American Kennel Club (AKC). The kennel name of
Top Gun shall prefix your chosen name on all registration papers.
This puppy may be returned to the breeder, at the buyer’s expense, for a full refund,
within 48 hours of purchase.
Top Gun puppies are guaranteed to pass OFA and Eye CERF no later than 28 months
of age. If the puppy should not pass, half the purchase price will be refunded only if the
following conditions are satisfied.
1. The dog has not been used for breeding.
2. The dog’s name, as registered with the AKC, contains the Top Gun’s prefix.
3. A copy of the dog’s Affected OFA Report or CERF results have been provided to
the breeder.
4. The bitch or dog has been spayed or neutered.
It is required that each puppy be PENN hipped OR the hips x-rayed prior to 12 months
of age, this will be considered a prelim hip evaluation. It is required that each puppy be
PENN hipped OR OFA’d at 24 months, this will be considered the final hip evaluation.
If the puppy is prelimed using an x-ray, it can be read by an orthopedic surgeon and does
not have to be sent to OFA for an official reading until the final OFA at 24 months.
Results of both prelim and final hip evaluations must be communicated to the breeders.
If the puppy seizures, breeders will refund half the purchase price, provided seizures are
proven to be hereditary, and not due to a medical condition.
Top Gun puppies are not guaranteed as breeding stock. If puppy is used for breeding it
is asked that the breeders be consulted, and agree, on choice of stud/dam. Permission is
given to spay or neuter.
If for any reason the buyer decides they do not want the puppy they have purchased, they
must contact one of the breeders first, in order to find the proper new home for the
dog/bitch. Breeders have first option to purchase or to approve an alternative placement
of the unwanted Border Collie.
I have read and understand the terms of this contract and agree to abide
by them.
