There are a lot of beautiful names: Edna and Rina are
always happy; Or and Orith are full of light; Alon and Oren
are strong trees; Irit and Nurit are beautiful flowers.
What is your name and why did you get it?
2. Time and Place of Birth
My name is Sharon. I was born in Be'er Sheva. I was
born on the 1st of September 1995. I was a nice baby. My
mother and father were very happy. My grandmother and
grandfather were happy too. We are a happy family!
3. How are You?
"How are you?"
"I am fine, thank you. I always smile, because I am
happy. I like my friends and my family, and I know that
they like me too. But yesterday I was sad because I lost
my English book. But luckily, I found it today, so I am
glad."

4. Days of the Week
Busy Bar
My name is Bar. I am only twelve years old but I
am very busy. On Mondays, I must go shopping. On
Tuesdays, I have to play with my little sister Orit.
On Fridays and Saturdays, I must walk our dog Spot. On
Sundays, I have to help my friend Tali with her shopping.
I am so busy that I have no time for my school.

What Is The Weather Like Today?
The weather is fine today. The sun is shining, the sky
is blue. There are no clouds in the sky.
It is warm and nice today.
I don't like when it's cold or rainy.
6. The Place Where I live
I live in Israel, in Beer Sheva, at Ramot neighborhood.
Ramot is a clean and quiet place. There are some
parks where children can play. There are a few shopping
centers where you can buy things you need. There are
some schools where pupils study.
I like my neighborhood very much.

My Mom says I have a lot of clothes. I have five
pairs of jeans, ten T-shirts, three jackets, six skirts, seven
dresses, four coats. I am going to a party. What can I
put on? A red jacket? No, it's too long. A green shirt? No,
it’s too short. My new coat? It's hot today. My Levis Tshirt? It's too cold. I have nothing to wear!
8. Food
Today is my birthday. My friends and I want to go out.
My favorite food is pizza. Tal likes hamburgers, chips with
cola or sprite. Ron wants to have some ice-cream with
coffee. Rina doesn't like pizza. She likes apple pie and
orange juice. Where can we go?
9. My Family
My name is Dan. I am 14 years old. I am short and
thin. I have a big family. I have a mother, a father, two
sisters and a baby brother. My older sister Tal is in the
Army. She is tall, thin and pretty. My twin sister Dana
goes to the same school I do. We are very alike. My baby
brother Nir is small and fat. On Friday evening we always
go to see my Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron. We are
one big happy family.

10. Hobbies
I like soccer. I play soccer twice a week. I play soccer
with my friends. My father and I go to the stadium to
watch soccer games every Saturday. I also watch soccer
on TV.

I do well. I do many things very well: I dance, I sing, I
swim and I also cook. My mother cooks every day and I
always help her. We sometimes bake cookies together and
everyone thinks that they are tasty. I want to be a famous
chef in the future.

I do well. I do many things very well: I play basketball
and tennis, I play computer games on the Internet and I
also run very fast. I'm the best player in our school
basketball team; I score about twenty points every game.
I enjoy it very much. In the future, I want to be a

My Mom says I am lazy. How can she say this to me?
I have so many things to do. I have to play computer
games with my friend Moshiko. I have to watch TV in
the evening. I have to play with my dog Spot. I have to
talk on the phone with Tamar. I have to go shopping to
the mall.
There are so many things to do.
My brother Tomer is really lazy. He has only two
things to do. He has to help Mom about the house
and get good grades at school.

What do you have in your bag?
I have many useful things in my bag.
For school I have books, notebooks, a pencil box with
pens, pencils and erasers.
I also have a sandwich for lunch and a bottle of water.
If I want to buy a candy or a snack, I have money in
my purse.

There are a lot of useful jobs. Teachers teach
students. Doctors treat patients. Drivers drive buses.
Nurses help doctors. My father is an engineer. He builds
roads. My mother has an important job too. She is a
house keeper. They love their work.

There are a lot of subjects at school. I study Math,
English, History, Bible, Hebrew, Arabic and Sports. I like
History very much. I like to study about the past of Israel.
I do not like Math because it is very difficult and boring. I
am happy when I have a History lesson. I am a good
student.
16. My Friend and My Pet
I have a friend. His name is Tal. He is 15 years old.
Tal is tall and strong. He has blue eyes and dark hair. Tal
is smart. He likes to play computer games. I like my
friend.
I have a dog too. He is a Doberman. His name is Dobi.
He is brown and big. He is a very smart dog. One day,
robbers tried to enter the house, but when they saw Dobi,
they ran away. We like our dog very much and we are
safe because Dobi guards us and our house.
17. Future
In the future I will be famous. I don't know what I will
do. I will be a famous soccer player or I will go to
Hollywood to be an actor. I don't know. First, I will finish
school. Then I will go to the Army. Then I will figure it
out.

Superman
Superman can do everything. He is so strong. He can
run fast. He can lift heavy things. He can fly like a plane.
He can jump from the tenth floor. He is also very smart.
He knows everything. I want to be like Superman.
19. Colors
There are many colors that I must remember! Blue is
the color of the sky. Green is the color of the grass. Yellow
is the color of the sun. White and blue are the colors of
the Israeli flag. Red is the color of love. Brown is the color
of your eyes, and black is the color of the night.

This is my room. It is small and light. I clean my room
every day.
There is a window in my room. There is a desk near
the window. There is a computer on the desk. There is a
bookcase next to the desk. There are a lot of books in the
bookcase.
My bed is near the door. There is a shelf with a TV set
in front of my bed.
There is a clock and pictures on the wall.
