Postdoc (junior researcher) position at Palacký University, Olomouc, Czech Republic Field: Nanocrystalline metal oxides for catalytic, photocatalytic and environmental applications We advertise an opened postdoc position in the research division Nanocrystalline metal oxides of the Regional Centre of Advanced Technologies and Materials, Faculty of Science, Palacky University (http://www.rcptm.com/research-divisions/nanocrystalline-metal-oxides/). The position is available from September 1, 2012 to June 30, 2015 with a possibility to continue under a followup research project. The research will be focused on synthesis and characterization of metal oxide based nanomaterials and their applications in catalysis, photocatalysis and environmental chemistry. Particularly, iron oxide based nanomaterials and nanostructures will be investigated and applied. We offer participation in an interesting research in a well harmonized team, laboratories equipped with sophisticated instruments (e.g. XRD, Mössbauer spectroscopy, TEM, SEM, thermal analysis, Sorptomatic), good wage conditions. We also offer a possibility to stay abroad in an institute in accordance with a particular topic. We have several international collaborations, e.g. with École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland (Prof. Grätzel, Dr. Sivula). We appreciate flexibility and high working capacity. The starting salary between 40 000 – 45 000 CZK can be expected according experience and a publication record of an applicant.
