FELLOW CRITERIA
Objective:
To ensure a high level of expertise and training for those Physicians practicing
Evaluation, Disability Management, and Impairment Assessment.
Initial Eligibility
AADEP Membership {Membership application fee $50; Initiation fee $500 (includes first year-dues)}
AADEP Comprehensive Training Program f/k/a Clinical Training Program (one point for each CME hour
in Comprehensive Training Program, min. 40/max. 45)
AADEP Class 1 CME Postgraduate Short Course (of member’s choice; one point for each CME hour in
Short course, min. 40/max. 45)
Optional CEDIR Examination (Certification in Evaluation of Disability and Impairment Rating;
40 points)
Optional FCE - Functional Capacity Examination (Certificate in Interpretation of Functional Ability;
10 points)
Optional D4C2 – [Data Driven Daubert Defendable Care Code] Certificate (20 points)
Optional AADEP Home Study Programs (actual CME Hours, up to 50 point maximum)
Acceptance of four (4) Case Reports (objective peer review) – minimum passing grade of 70%/case
Two letters of recommendation from two AADEP Fellows
Current Curriculum Vitae
Copy of current State Medical License(s)
Course Completion Documentation
i.e.
photocopies of CME Certificate, course brochure, verification letter
Other Activity Documentation
i.e.
program brochure/outline, faculty appointment letter, article reprints
Point System (175-point minimum required for Fellowship)
