caterers, bar information, and a map of the room. The following is a breakdown of the prices:
-Price: $3,400 (Sun - Friday), $4,000 (Saturday),
-5 hour rental period
-Complete privacy
-Full bar with two bartenders (beverage cost based on consumption)
-Tables, chairs, china, glassware, and silverware
-Access for caterers and use of our kitchen
These are the additional charges:
-$175 Linen (double cloth, white napkins)
-$250 (set up and breakdown)

Facility Booking Guide
Reservations and Payment
Reservations may be made up to one year in advance. To reserve your special date, a signed contract, signed
booking guide, signed credit card authorization and a $1700.00 refundable deposit are required. Payment of the
total estimated bill is due three weeks prior to your function. The booking fee for each event is specified on your
event contract. If full payment of the estimate is not received prior to the function the Golden Gate Yacht Club
has the right to cancel the event and the client will be responsible for all cancellation fees listed under the
Cancellation Policy section of this booking guide.
Cancellation Policy
If renter cancels a reservation within 120 days of the event date the client is responsible for 25% of the rental fee
as stated in the Contract. If renter cancels a reservation within 90 days of the event the client is responsible for
50% of the rental fees as stated in the Contract. If renter cancels a reservation within 30 days of the event the
client is responsible for 100% of the rental fees as stated in the Contract. All fees are due and payable, not later
than 14 days prior to the event date.
Security Deposit
Renter must provide a refundable security deposit for receptions and parties for all groups of 100 or more
engaging in a wedding, fundraiser, wine tasting or social reception. The Golden Gate Yacht Club reserves the
right to collect a refundable security deposit for any event that may pose special consideration. The security
deposit is due with the return of the rental and use agreement. The security deposit may be applied to any
outstanding fees following the event. Rental shall be responsible for any damages, the security deposit may be
kept in part or whole, to be applied toward restitution and repair. Renter shall further pay any balance for the
same. The security deposit will be returned within 30 days in the same manner of payment received.
Impossibility of Performance
The performance of this Agreement by either party is subject to acts of God, government authority, disaster,
strikes, civil disorders, or other emergencies, any of which make it illegal or impossible to provide the facilities
and/or services for your meeting. It is provided that this Agreement may be terminated for any one or more of
such reasons by written notice from one party to the other without liability.
Overtime Charges
There is a 5-hour time limit on all events. Overtime will be charged at $350.00 per hour and is subject to
availability of the premise. All events must end at 12:00 AM. Overtime will be charged in 1-hour increments.
The 5-hour period starts when the bar when the function begins. The 5-hour rental period is exclusive of caterer
and client set up / clean up and decorating.

Catering Guidelines
All food service will be contracted through an approved catering company. The Golden Gate Yacht Club will
provide the renter with a recommended catering list. The recommended catering companies are carefully selected
to meet the needs of our clients. The renter is responsible for contracting appropriate amount of catering/service
staff to ensure that pre and post catering functions are completed within the contracted time limit. Generally the
renter will have access to the room 2 hours prior to the event.
The Golden Gate Yacht Club will cater all beverage service. Included is a Beverage Service menu with a broad
selection of beverages, but if you have special requests we will be happy to work with you on creating a signature
service. Beer and other alcoholic beverages may never be brought onto Club property. Wine may be brought into
the Club and will be charged a $15.00 per bottle corkage fee.
Linen is available for rental and will be charged based on the client’s selection. Two weeks notice is required.
Service Charge and Taxes
The beverage and miscellaneous prices quoted are subject to an 18.5 % service charge and applicable California
sales tax. California tax laws state that service charges are taxable.
Club Access
The Golden Gate Yacht Club is a racing club and that the Race Deck may be used by the Club during a private
party, function, and/or social event. Members will also have access to one of the Club’s lounges at all time
including a private party, function, and/or social event rental times.

manager of Golden Gate Yacht Club.

the premises. The above vendors have met all requirements for operation at The Golden Gate
Yacht Club. They have been carefully selected based on quality, customer service and value.
Many of our venders are women and/or minority owned businesses. Event planning, floral,
musical, and production companies are optional at clients’ discretion. If you are interested in
using a caterer not on our list, please contact us.
