Title : Peace
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Dimensions: 50cm by 40cm by 3cm
Description:
The artist represents difficulties and
challenges in life as storm. The more
challenges we face, the more tempest
the storm. Everyone requires a harbour
where there can be solace from the
storms of life. A higher spiritual strength
and guidance for the maintenance of
sanity, the rock is the representation of
this strength. It gives us shelter from the
storm, providing a calm pool where we
can be free to show our potential fully.
Christ is that strength the artist found
strength in. The relationship with this
higher strength provided the peace from
the turmoil and wrath of the insanity
experienced in life.

Title : Remember Me
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Dimensions: 50cm by 40cm by 3cm
Description:
A sweet, pastel pink rose equates
everlasting love. The natural reflection
of light makes it very realistic and
soothing. The emphasis of this painting
is the blooming pink rose that depicts
innocence, purity and elegance which
made up the qualities of a woman. The
rose is strikingly visible which gives a
visual impact to others. Combined with
some tints of yellow, a colour of
blending which stimulates mental
energy and represents wisdom, the
painting exudes brilliant inspiration and
life of a woman.
Artist: Miss Shahirah Ayoob Angullia
Title : Soulmates
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Dimensions: 50cm by 40cm by 3cm
Description:
An abstract painting that depicts the
face of a lady, seemingly featuring the
moving waves. Also it portrays a special
bond between a man and a woman by
using the calm, soothing blue and soft
feminine pink. What greater thing is
there for two human souls than to feel
that they are joined for life? To
strengthen each other and to be there
for each other in silent unspeakable
memories. Colours used are bright yet
not overpowering as to snatch the
attention from the meaning of the work.
Artist: Andre D’Rozario
Title : Hornbill
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Dimensions: 25cm by 36cm
Description:
Hornbills (Bucerotidae) are a family of
bird found in tropical and subtropical
Africa, Asia and Melanesia. They are
the only birds in which the first two neck
vertebrae (the axis and atlas) are fused
together; this probably provides a more
stable platform for carrying the bill. The
family is omnivorous, feeding on fruit
and small animals. They are
monogamous breeders nesting in
natural cavities in trees and sometimes
cliffs. A number of species of hornbill
are threatened with extinction, mostly
insular species with small ranges.

Description:
Eagles have relatively longer and more
evenly broad wings, and more direct,
faster flight. They have very large
hooked beaks for tearing flesh from
their prey, strong muscular legs, and

Title : Shark
Medium: Watercolour
Dimensions: 50cm by 38cm
Description:
The habitat of sharks is the oceans.
Sharks have seven senses and some
(e.g. night vision and the sense of smell)
are substantially finer than the
respective senses of many mammals.
For example, sharks can see better in
the dark than cats. The shark's most
astounding sense is its electrosense.
Using their ampullae of Lorenzini they
can detect even very fine currents, such
as those emanating from a heartbeat.

Title : Hammerhead
Class: 4 Innovation
Medium: Watercolour
Dimensions: 50cm by 35cm
Description:
Hammerheads display many unique
qualities that deem themselves quite
interesting. Their head is wide and
mallet shaped, with a pair of eyes, each
at one end. This gives them a better
visual range than most other sharks,
which makes for easier scanning of
oceanic grounds. Their head also
provides lift, making them very buoyant.
These sharks, like most other sharks
have electolocation sensory pores. By
scattering these pores over a large area,
the shark gains a better sense of where
his prey is located. Furthermore, these
sharks have wider nasal tracts than
most others, increasing their chances of
finding particles in the water.

some cultures still are, revered as
representative of the primal forces of
nature, religion and the universe. They
are associated with wisdom—often said
to be wiser than humans—and
longevity. They are commonly said to
possess some form of magic or other
supernatural power, and are often

Title : Eagle
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Dimensions: 40cm by 30cm by 1.5cm
Description:
The bald eagle, with its snowyfeathered (not bald) head and white tail,
is the proud national bird symbol of the
United States. These powerful birds of
prey use their talons to fish, but they get
many of their meals by scavenging
carrion or stealing the kills of other
animals. They live near water and favor
coasts and lakes where fish are
plentiful, though they will also snare and
eat small mammals.

Title : Beyond
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Dimensions: 45cm by 35cm by 1.5cm
Description:
The mountain range depicts the
problems in life that could become
obstacles if we just look squarely at
them. Beyond the mountain range could
be beautiful valleys and habitats
bustling with life. One must learn to look
beyond obstacles and see hope and
possibilities in life.
