Scope of Work: Cooper City High School Scope: Construct a 3-story Administration/Classroom
Building of 115,082 gsf to include Administrative and Guidance Suite, 20 Sr. High Classrooms, 4
Resource Classrooms, 10 Science Labs, 4 Chemistry Labs, Science Material and Project storage
spaces, 2 Business Education Practical Experience Labs and related spaces, 2 Business Education
Marketing Labs and related spaces, Textbook Storage, Career and Technical Education (Automotive
Technology) 2 Medium Education labs and 1 classroom with related spaces and Outside Covered
Work Area. Related Spaces: Staff, Student, and Public Restrooms; a one-story Custodial Receiving
Building with related spaces of 3,225 gsf to include Custodial Office, Flammable Storage,
Equipment Storage, Custodial Receiving and related spaces; remodel existing Agriculture Building
No. 18 (area 3,373 nsf included above in admin/classroom building) to Childcare Service to include
Early Childhood Education Learning Lab, Technical Resource Center, Directors Office,
Laundry/Kitchen, exterior playground area with equipment, and related spaces. Construct Bus Loop
and Drop Off, Retention Area, Parent Drop Off and Visitor and Staff Parking and Courtyard Area.
Remodel Utility Connections (M.E.P.) to Existing Buildings 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, and 09
scheduled to remain. Demolition and removal of existing Administration/Classroom Building No.
01 and two story canopy between the buildings being demolished and the existing buildings to
remain. Make necessary repairs to the remaining buildings and stairs due to the canopy removal.
Add any stairs or raised walkways needed for egress. Provide covered walkway connecting
buildings formerly connected by the two story canopy. Make Civil Construction remediations,
including slope adjustment, grading, landscaping and sodding, to existing canal bank of
approximately 400 lf. South Broward High Scope: Construct a new Aquatic Facility to include a ten
lane competition pool, (two) one meter diving well, teaching pool, and spectator areas. Pool deck
features include covered shade canopy, pool deck seating areas, concrete diving platform,
specialized sports lighting, and entry feature. Construct a new pool administration building to
include coachs office, lifeguard office, hospitality/team room, locker rooms, storage rooms and pool
equipment rooms.
