Measures of Student Achievement

Student Achievement Metric as Required by PAB

Students completing internships of 400 hours or more receive a written evaluation from their supervisor. Evaluation occurs upon conclusion of the internship, which typically follows the first year of completed coursework. Supervisors evaluate interns on a number of indicators of student performance, including a rating on whether they would hire the student should a position be open in their workplace.

Evaluators use a rating scale of 3-Would Hire, 2-Would Hire with Reservations, 1-

Would Not Hire. This indicator is an excellent measure of overall student preparedness for professional planning work.
