Detailed Scope of Work : 4- - - Revision of patient clinical sheet, taking the clinical history and examination of patients. Deciding the radioisotope scanning techniques for our patients, follow up their imaging on the gamma camera whether as static, dynamic or functional, planer or SPECT (single photon emission computed tomography) procedure. Interpretation of the scanning films for all different body systems and organs. Approval of PET/CT studies referral requests and select the most appropriate protocol for each patient. Interpretation and Reporting of PET/CT studies. Also, we have inpatient section for radionuclide therapy for cases of cancer thyroid, bone metastases, and others and I share in their management. I share in tenders or bids for buying the different isotopes and kits for our department. I share in tenders or bids for buying different instrumentations including the gamma cameras in my department. The clinical work for me include taking the patient history and then examine him to detect the professional diagnosis , then I revise his laboratory data and see the other imaging findings then I start to interpret the results of his radionuclide scan according to our findings. I do weekly seminar for the interesting cases with my colleague in our department and related departments. I share in teaching of High Diploma of nuclear Medicine technologist. I share in teaching and training of radiology resident.
