ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΣ Ν. ΦΟΥΝΤΟΥΛΑΚΗΣ
Ο Κωνσταντίνος Ν. Φουντουλάκης MD, PhD, είναι Επίκουρος Καθηγητής
Ψυχιατρικής στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης, και
υπηρετεί στην Γ΄ Πανεπιστημιακή Ψυχιατρική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημιακού
Νοσοκομείου ΑΧΕΠΑ.
Έλαβε το πτυχίο ιατρικής (1989), την ειδικότητα ψυχιατρικής (1998) και το διδακτορικό
του (1999) από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης.
Έλαβε υποτροφία 3 ετών με θέμα «Ψυχοσωματική Ιατρική» καθώς και 1 έτους
μεταδιδακτορική υποτροφία από το ΙΚΥ. Μέχρι το 2003 υπηρέτησε ως αξιωματικός του
Υγειονομικού του Στρατού Ξηράς και αποστρατεύτηκε με το βαθμό του Επιάτρου. Το
2005 μετεκπαιδεύτηκε σε θέματα λειτουργικής νευροπαθολογίας και νευροαπεικόνισης
στην Ψυχιατρική Κλινική του πανεπιστημίου της Γενεύης.
Οι τομείς του κλινικού και ερευνητικού ενδιαφέροντός του αντανακλούνται και στα
θέματα τα οποία διδάσκει: γενική ψυχιατρική, βιολογική ψυχιατρική,
ψυχοφαρμακολογία διαταραχές της διάθεσης, σχιζοφρένεια και διαταραχές
προσωπικότητας. Είναι ενεργό μέλος σε αριθμό εθνικών και διεθνών επιστημονικών
εταιριών συμπεριλαμβανομένων των EPA, APA, WPA, CINP, ECNP, ISAD, ISBD,
EBF, Cochrane Collaboration και άλλων και πρόσφατα ήταν μέλος του Collegium
Internationale Neuro-Psychopharmacologicum (CINP) Advisory Board to the Task Force
on the Usefulness of Antidepressants καθώς και στην Mental Health Economics Task
Force of the International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA).
Είναι πρόεδρος της ISNP και από το 2006, ήταν γραμματέας και από το 2008
συμπρόεδρος του Κλάδου Ιδιωτικά Ασκούμενης Ψυχιατρικής της Παγκόσμιας
Ψυχιατρικής Εταιρίας. Επίσης είναι πρόεδρος της CINP Credentials and Membership
Committee και του Κλάδου Νευροψυχολογικών και Ψυχομετρικών δοκιμασιών της
Ελληνικής Ψυχιατρικής Εταιρίας.
Είναι επίσης Editor in Chief του διεθνούς περιοδικού Annals of General Psychiatry και
Guest Editor του διεθνούς περιοδικού Current Opinion in Psychiatry. Έχει συμμετάσχει
στη συγγραφή περισσότερων από 250 εργασίες που παρουσιάστηκαν σε συνέδρια ενώ
περισσότερες από 100 έχουν δημοσιευθεί σε διεθνή περιοδικά όπως το LANCET,
Biological Psychiatry, International Journal of Neuropsychopharmacology, Journal of
Affective Disorders, Schizophrenia Research, Psychiatry Research, Bipolar Disorders,
Annals of General Hospital Psychiatry, και το British Journal of Psychiatry, ανάμεσα
στα άλλα, με πάνω από 1000 αναφορές και δείκτη h=19. Έχει συμμετάσχει στη
συγγραφή αριθμού κεφαλαίων σε διεθνή βιβλία συμπεριλαμβανομένου του κεφαλαίου
για τις Διαταραχές της Διάθεσης στο Wiki project της World Psychiatric Association
(WPA). Έχει τιμηθεί με σημαντικά ελληνικά και διεθνή ερευνητικά βραβεία.
Το 2009 διορίστηκε από το Υπουργείο Υγείας μέλος της Ειδικής Επιτροπής Διοικητικού
Οικονομικού και Διαχειριστικού Ελέγχου των Μονάδων Ψυχικής Υγείας.
