3. Mary Anne "Annie" Dorcas. Daughter of Aaron Dorcas & Elizabeth Blizzard. Born 5 May
1862. Died 1921. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
After the death of her first husband, Charles Irvine Christie, Annie married John Wilkins.
She first married Charles Irvine Christie, son of John Christie & Elizabeth Jane Gass, 25 Jun
1879 in Lawlor's Hotel, St. Stephen. Born 20 Feb 1853. Died 1882 in Harvey.
From Daily Telegraph, 11 Jul 1879: "Married Lawlor's Hotel, St. Stephen, 25th ult., by Rev.
Wm P. Beggs, Charles I. Christie and Annie Dorcas both of Harvey Settlement."
Charles died young. Charles and Annie had one son.

Harvey Station, N.B., Aug 14 -- John Wilkin, Thomaston, N.B., passed away at his home in his
84th year. Although in failing health for several years he was able to be around until recently.
Mr Wilkin was born in Cumberland County, Eng. With his parents he came to New Brunswick
in 1853 (sic) when very young and had since resided in Thomaston. He was well known in the
community and surrounding districts.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs Clarence Little, York Mills; Mrs Robert Douglas, New
Westminister, B.C.; Mrs James Ward, Napadogan; two sons, Elmer, York Mills, and Henry,
Thomaston; 11 grandchildren; one great grandson; five sisters, Mrs Mary Hay, Mrs Margaret
Little, Mrs Fred Embleton, McAdam; and Janet and Katherine, Thomaston; and one brother,
James, Thomaston.
Interment was in Harvey Cemetery.

Harvey, Feb 10 -- Stricken on Wednesday afternoon with a severe heart attack, George Smith, of
Harvey, passed away at his home about seven o'clock of the same day. He was a son of the late Alexander
and Mary Smith and is survived by four daughters and three sons. They are Edward, Ella and Edith, of
Portland, Maine; Harry, of McAdam, also Mrs Godkin, Fred and Nellie, at home. Four grandchildren also
survive.
The funeral was held from his home on Friday afternoon. All his children were present. Mr. H.
Galbraith, of Saint John, conducted the funeral service. Interment was made in the Harvey cemetery.
Mr Smith will be mourned by very many friends from whom will go deep sympathy to those so sadly
bereaved by his death. He was sixty years of age.

William Smith
Harvey, April 10 -- Our community has been saddened by the death of William Smith, eldest son of the
late Alexander Smith, at his residence here. Although he had been in failing health for some time, the news
of his death came as a shock to his friends.
He was of middle age, a highly respected resident, of a kind and genial disposition and of sterling
character. He is survived by his three daughters, his mother, three brothers and five sisters. The daughters
are Mrs Scott McPherson of Nashwaak, Mrs Kenneth Murphy of Chipman, and Audrey, at home.
