Ideal for portable money. Detector used in automobile, boat and shop, etc.

Replace the ultra violet blue tube

Remove the transparent tube cover followed by twisting the tube slightly in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction so that it can be removed easily. Then replace it with new 4 Watt 6 in tube.

Replace the batteries

By moving backward of the cover and inserting 4xUM3 (size AA 4R6P) batteries no included.

N.B

1When the light of the fluorescent tube begins to get dim, the batteries should be changed otherwise the tube will become blackened.

2It is advisable remove the batteries from the fluorescent lantern if it is not being used for any length of time.

3Do not switch on the fluorescent circuit when the tube is not connected as this may damage the solid state of the circuit.

4It is better to use NI-CD rechargeable batteries or alkaline batteries to maintain the efficiency.

5There is a socket optional for AC/DC adaptor and rechargeable batteries, but make sure that the specification of the adaptor must fit with the rechargeable batteries and before using adaptor plug.

Into socket, battery compartment must be empty (except rechargeable batteries) otherwise may cause damage either the batteries or fluorescent lantern.

6Never use the battery and adaptor plug at the same time.
