RELIGIONS AND CULTURE/POLITICAL SCIENCE, PHILOSOPHY AND ECONOMICS:
Motion # 1: (David Hackett/David Tabachnick)
That ARCC recommend to the Arts & Science Executive the modification of RLCT 3506 – Religion and
Politics by replacing the prerequisite of RLCT 1025 – Introduction to World Religions and Cultures with
“Students must have completed 24 credits.

That ARCC recommend to the Arts & Science Executive the cross-coding of RLCT 23506 – Religion and
Politics with Political Science as described in the document.

That ARCC recommend to the Arts & Science Executive the addition of ESPA 3006/3007 – Hispanic Literary

That ARCC recommend to Arts & Science Executive the removal of CLAS 2406 (War and Society in Ancient
Greece) as the prerequisite for CLAS 2407 (War and Society in Ancient Rome).

That ARCC recommend to Arts & Science Executive the deletion of the following six credit courses, CLAS
1105 Introductory Latin and CLAS 1205 Introductory Ancient Greek which will be replaced by three-credit
course sequences.

That ARCC recommend to Arts & Science Executive that the addition of the following courses CLAS 1106
Introductory Latin I, CLAS 1107 Introductory Latin II, CLAS 1206 Introductory Ancient Greek 1, CLAS 1207
Introductory Ancient Greek II replacing CLAS 1105 and CLAS 1205.
GENDER EQUALITY AND SOCIAL JUSTICE

That ARCC recommend to Arts & Science that the prerequisites for GEND 3506 – Applied Activism for
Gender Equality and Social Justice be amended from GEND 1025 and GEND 2055 to GEND 1025 only.
