GARDEN WASTE SERVICE
2011/12
What is the service?
 Collection of garden waste (grass cuttings, shrub prunings, leaves etc) from
your property.
 Provision of a 240 litre brown wheeled bin (same size as the standard general
waste bin) The bin remains the property of Breckland Council and will be
collected if the service ceases.
 Please put the garden waste loose in the bin – NO BAGS PLEASE. Only the
contents of the wheeled bin will be collected, additional garden waste placed
besides the bin will not be taken.
 Bins can be shared between properties however please remember only the
contents of the bin will be collected.
When will it start?
 You will receive a calendar detailing your collection days.
 The cost of the service is £36.00 for 26 pre-set collections made throughout
the year. Payment is required in advance and is non refundable.
