EXHIBIT A SECTION 202 Definitions Family - A person living alone, or any of the following groups living together as a single nonprofit housekeeping unit and sharing common living, sleeping, cooking, and eating facilities, exclusive of live in employees. Any number of persons related by blood, adoption, guardianship or marriage. Two persons not related by blood, adoption, guardianship or marriage and any children related to either of them. Family shall not include: a society, club, fraternity, sorority, association, lodge, combine, federation, coterie, or a like organization, nor any group of individuals whose association is temporary or seasonal in nature. Junk Vehicle – means any vehicle that meets all of the following criteria. It is (1) three years old or older; (2) apparently inoperable; and (3) extensively damaged, including, but not limited to, any of the following: missing wheels, tires, engine, or transmission. Junk – means waste, discarded or salvaged materials including, but not limited to scrap metals, building materials, batteries, glass, paper, rags, rubber, cordage, barrels, machinery and junk vehicles or parts thereof. SECTION 516.3 Junk Vehicles - Outdoor storage or parking of junk vehicles shall not be permitted within any district. EXISTING- under Article 2 Section 202 Definitions Family - One or more individuals related by blood, marriage or adoption living and cooking together on the premises as a single housekeeping unit, exclusive of household servants. A number of persons but not exceeding two (2) living and cooking together as a single housekeeping unit though not related by blood, adoption, or marriage shall be deemed to constitute a family. Inoperable Vehicle or Junk Vehicle - A vehicle shall be deemed "inoperable" or "junk" if, for a period of two weeks prior to the filing of a cease and desist order, it cannot or may not be driven legally on a public or private road. Junk - Includes, without limitation, accumulated trash, vehicle parts, yard waste or any other debris judged by the Township Zoning Inspector as constituting a health or safety hazard to the residents of the Township. The word "Junk" shall also include material deemed offensive to community standards (as evidenced by written complaints of at least two neighboring property owners and the concurrence of the Township Zoning Inspector) which has been on the property for a period longer than six months. Inoperable Vehicle – Any motor vehicle which is incapable of being operated for the reasons set forth herein: is wrecked, dismantled or extensively damaged, such damage including but not limited to, missing wheels, tires, motor, transmission, broken windows, and missing or damaged fenders or doors. Junk – means waste, discarded or salvaged materials including, but not limited to scrap metals, building materials, batteries, glass, paper, rags, rope, rubber, cordage, barrels, machinery and inoperable vehicles or parts thereof. EXISTING 516.3 Inoperable or Junk Vehicles - Outdoor storage or parking of inoperable or junk vehicles shall not be permitted within any district. PROPOSED 516.3 Inoperable Vehicles - Outdoor storage or parking of inoperable vehicles shall not be permitted within any district.
