Term 4 News from the
MPPS Arts Department
Term 4 has begun with a bang in The Arts
Department. Students are already immersing
themselves in all areas of art such as music,
sculpture and mixed media. It is stimulating
to see how students have been pushing the
boundaries to create individual works that
reflect the art elements, as well as their
personalities. I am looking forward to
displaying these works at the 2015 Art Show

ArtVision 2015
The 2015 Art Show will be
held on the 10th of December
between the times of 6.00pm
and 7.30pm.
Each student will have a
range of work on display and
will have contributed to a
piece that will be for sale on
the night.
During the lead up to the Art
Show I will be requiring some
assistance from parents and
families. If you would like to
volunteer please contact me
via email.
JUNK COLLECTION
The arts department is always on
the look of for junk that can be
turned into art.
A new small wheelie bin will be
outside of the office for any junk
that is being dropped off for the art
department.

HELP NEEDED
Art Stands pick up and drop off.
Art stands have been hired from the
Greensborough Art Society. Pick up and drop
off have to be arranged by the school. We
have booked the stands to be picked up on
Friday the 4th of December and to be returned
on Friday the 11th. The pick up and drop off
times can be negotiated. If you have a trailer
or a large van and/or would be able to assist
someone with the job please let me know as
soon as possible.
