Students can discuss perception in the stories as it relates to notes given in class
previously:
Perception is affected by differences in:
1. using information/selected focus

2. cultural experiences
mood/feeling/circumstance
3. background
6. expectations
4. physical abilities
Discuss perspectives of wolf, pigs, etc… In groups discuss how this activity sparked
memories of when their perceptions of an event differed from others’ perceptions.
Day two/three
Perspective and Freedom of Speech
Westboro Baptist Church and 1st amendment

Show video clips of protests; hand out article outlining court decision.
