1. PHA India Private Limited , Chennai : MAR ’12 ~ Till date
(Korean based Automobile manufacturing company . it involves joint design, joint development,
manufacturing, assembly and services to global automobile industry)
Main manufacturer of Door latches, Hinges, Truck lid hinges, Front/Rear/Tail gate hinges .
 Joined to the current position of Asst Manager (Currently on Audi ,VW Program)
 Reporting to Product development –HOD and with team of 25 members.
Key deliverables:
 Ensures development of new products as per the customers specifications and quality
parameters within specified time.
 Conducts and supervises the feasibility study for the design and development of the new
products and compounds.
 Interacts with the quality team of the customers to understand the requirements and
ensure the same is fulfilled.
 Monitors & ensures testing of raw material & new products developed and take
corrective actions if required.
 Provides support and guidance to operations team for smooth production of the new
products as and when required.
 Keep an eye to competition, new products, technology and development taking place in
the field, conduct analysis of the same and accordingly make suggestions to the
management Reviews NPD reports to identify gaps & take remedial action for

Travel abroad: Foxconn International Holdings, Shenzhen ,China – 2yrs, Mobile division.
 Joined as Process Engineer and rose to the Senior Engineer (Paint shop).
 Reporting to Product manager and with team of 50.
Key deliverables:
 Tryout & on-site assessment for painted parts (plastic & metal) during pre-series stage,
Optimization of process based on evaluation trials.
 Participate in Technical discussion with R & D, Process Engineering colleagues regarding
surface protection etc..
 Analyse Quality concerns of Painted & Surface treated parts e.g. electroplated, liquid coated
parts etc. (Plastic & Metal parts)
 Establish sustainable process at Supplier e.g. 1st off Inspection & release, Process
Qualification checks, periodic Product Audit.
 Actions based on feedback coming out of Audit, Quality concerns & field failures
Continuous Improvement of Parts & Processes at Supplier
 Proactive measures to avoid risk due to process and at Suppliers .
 Participation in all phases of product development at Suppliers utilizing knowledge &
experience in order to ensure that parts are in an acceptable condition for start of production.
 Assist suppliers with application and implementation of quality tools (e.g. FMEA) to enhance
the manufacturing process and to ensure process capability & consistency.
 Perform various tasks and functions of an administrative nature (weekly and monthly problem
report to management on paint & surface protection related issues, deviations etc..
 Liaison with a diversity of people both internally and externally up to Senior Management
level.
 Sign-off for Process Qualification at Supplier for Paint/surface treated parts.
 Risk assessment during series production ,Decisions for process corrections for optimization.
 Evaluate part / process design and finalize layout for Painshop, design for jigs/tooling and
Enhance the conveyor/ machine utilization to achieve the production target with zero
defect.
 Analyzing the critical issues/customer complaints and providing the valuable input to
enhance the product.
 Recruit enough manpower , train and monitor performance to utilize efficiently.

 Conversant with plastic molding/painting line which includes pretreatment, wet painting
of primer, basecoat and clear coat and paint kitchen.
