Dear colleagues!
We kindly invite you to attend the Russian-Chinese Scientific Conference on Medical
Microbiology and Clinical Mycology (XVIII Kashkin Readings) which will be held at the Hotel
«Saint-Petersburg» in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) on 09-11 June 2015.
Carrying out of the Conference will serve as a powerful integrative factor for local and
foreign laboratories, will help to strengthen the Russian-Chinese cooperation and to train talented
young scientists. Within the framework of the cooperation with Association of Sino-Russian
Medical Universities (ASRMU) and Harbin Medical University (China) will be co-organizer of the
Conference.
During the past decade opportunities of modern medical microbiology and clinical
mycology have increased. Transition from fundamental and preconceptual study into "OMIСs"
technologies in the diagnostics, prognosis and treatment of disease had happened. The scientific
platform of the Conference is founded on the achievements of genomics, proteomics,
transcriptomics and metabolomics. This scientific platform will serve as a basis for development of
translational medicine, personalized approaches to the therapy of infectious diseases and preventive
measures.
The Russian-Chinese format of the Conference was approved on the First Council Meeting
of the Association of Sino-Russian Medical Universities (ASRMU) which took place in Moscow
(Russia) on 02 September 2015.

Plenary meetings, satellite symposiums and workshops will be held during the Conference.
The Competition of Poster Session among young researches and students will take place. It will be
carried out the exhibition of new equipment and reagents for microbiological diagnostics and
production of pharmaceutical companies. The leading specialists in microbiology, clinical
mycology and dermatovenerology from Chinese, Europe, CIS and Russian Federation will
participate in the Conference.
Competition of young scientists and students
Competition of young scientists and students will take place in the frame of the RussianChinese Research and Practice Conference on Medical Microbiology and Clinical Mycology
(XVIII Kashkin Readings).
Students and young scientists under 35 years old can participate in the Competition of Poster
Session. Requirements to poster presentations are placed on the site of the Organizing committee
http://mycology.szgmu.ru/konference2015/. Authors of selected posters will have an opportunity
to present their posters at the Conference.
The winners will be invited to perform their abstract presentations at the scientific sections
of the Conference.
Abstracts publication
Accepted abstracts will be published in the journal «Problems of Medical Mycology». The
journal is included into the List of leading reviewed scientific journals and editions. Submission

Editorial board reserves the right to reject abstracts.
