Measurement of Agriculture applications using ZIG BEE. ABSTRACT Measurement of agriculture systems are used extensively in agricultural applications for both day-to-day and research purposes. Our automated weather stations and other measurement products provide accurate and reliable data that can assist in the overall management of crops and farm operations. Our systems are used by large commercial and private farms, agricultural engineers, and agronomy researchers. The versatility of our measurement systems allows them to be used in a variety of applications including Measurements include wind speed and direction, solar radiation, RH, rain, soil moisture, and temperature (air and soil). This data can be input into crop models, providing information for optimized crop management The project involves in measuring the Temperature and Humidity of a remote area and continuously monitoring the changes in Temperature and Humidity in that particular area. In this project the Temperature Sensor and Humidity sensor are interfaced with a micro controller. The Temperature and Humidity measured are transmitted through the Zig Bee modem, interfaced with the micro controller, from the remote area to the monitoring station. Zig Bee modules are interfaced to the microcontrollers with temperature sensors and Humidity sensors, and these entire modules are kept at different remote areas from where the corresponding Temperature and Humidity are transmitted to the monitoring station. In the monitoring station the different temperature and Humidity of different places are monitored using a system. The database for the system is designed using Visual Studio or C Language. ADVANTAGES 1. Soil moisture, Irrigation scheduling, Heat/chill monitoring are provided 2. Stations provide daily estimates of water use. 3. Data from remote locations can be transmitted to a home or office.
