Description
The Liebert OpenComms EM is a compact, half-duplex
device designed to monitor temperature, humidity,
water detection and contact closure and notify personnel
when those conditions exceed user-defined limits.
The OpenComms EM is available in several models, which vary in size and number and types of ports. All
models have sensor ports to monitor temperature, humidity, water detection and contact closure, and all models have either an external or built-in temperature/humidity sensor.
The EM Controller:

The EM PDU Controller is also useful for:
• Closets to monitor for temperature problems
• Cabinets to monitor for overheating
• Spot detectors to monitor sensitive or trouble
spots in a computer room
• Monitor common (summary) alarm of a unit for
network notification
• Control of individual receptacles for on, off and
reboot
• Monitoring power usage for changes in loads on
individual power strips
