Behavior observation
My observation:
I observed my friend’s child in at her house. Specifically at his play
room. I spent two hours observed him. His name is T. He is 4 years
and 8 months. I choose him because his mother told me she is
concerned about his motor, language and social skills development
She said “ he is going to the kindergarten everyday but does not speak
very much, he does not tell any thing and he plays most of time alone
or with his little brother “ She added he does not like to play football
as boys in the same age. First I prepared a check list that contained
some of stages of growth in the age of the fourth and fifth because he
approached the end of the fourth year, I took with me some papers
and colored pencils, Montessori `s frames covered and some letter
flash cards.
He was playing in his play room and we went to this room with his
mother. His mother said to him this is MS Radwa. She is a
kindergarten teacher like your teacher MS H.
He came and shook my hands. I asked him, "What is your name?" He
answered T. T. He looked at me, listened to my conversation with his
mother then he returned back to his toy tools. And I started to
observe him with my checklist.

About his motor skills when I ask his mother she said he can feed

this with Montessori `s frames covered. So also his motor skills are

skills are developing too.
Discussion:
According to piglet’s theory I found this child on preoperational stage
and according to the milestones of a four and five-year-old child, T. is
developing his skills but may be he need more attention from his
parents and to talk with him.
