Transportation and Disposal
Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass, a joint venture is seeking the intent of qualified offerors to perform
Hazardous Waste Transportation and Disposal at the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot
Plant (BGCAPP) at the Blue Grass Army Depot in Richmond, Kentucky.
Scope of Work Summary
This Request for Proposal (RFP) would be for performance all operations necessary and required to
satisfactorily perform hazardous waste transport and disposal at Blue Grass Army Depot (BGAD) for
Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP) Project in Richmond, KY.
SUBCONTRACTOR shall perform all work in accordance with all federal, state, and local codes,
regulations, ordinances, standards, specifications and drawings.
SUBCONTRACTOR shall provide BGCAPP with Hazardous Material/Hazardous Waste and
commercial industrial waste transportation compliant with 40 CFR Part 263 and 49 CFR Part 171-180
and Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDF) compliant with 40 CFR Part 264.
SUBCONTRACTOR transports packaged hazardous waste, industrial waste, and universal wastes
from the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant Project (BGCAPP) to a licensed/certified
disposal facility. SUBCONTRACTOR shall provide for disposal of hazardous waste at permitted (40
CFR Part 264) TSDF.
