The extruded aluminium ’U’ shaped top rail is open at the bottom to protect the mechanism from dirt
and wet. The installation brackets are made of galvanized steel. The cross-shaft is made of
aluminium-tube (d=17 mm), with hexagonal groove, with optional slide coupling made of stainless
steel on each side. With high-precision, dustproof plastic friction-bearing. The lifting-and tilting
mechanism is a closed, weatherproof construction element made of special, durable plastic, without
guide rollers. When lowering the blind, the slats are closed towards the extreior – when raising, the

completely. The slats can be tilted in any position of the blind. 8 mm wide lift tape, tear proof at 110
daN. The ladder cord is made of high-strength Trevira-terylene, with sprayed bevel cams made from
UV-resistant plastic, connection to the slat via chromium steel hook. 90 mm wide, 0,4-0,5 mm thick 'Z'
shaped, roll-formed, bordered aluminium slats made from highly elastic special alloy, 2-layer stove
enamelled in standard color / RAL-color at the buyers option (surcharge). For better blacking out and
smoother run, a sealing strip is rolled in the front border of each slat. The bottom rail is made of
extruded, closed aluminium profile, curved at the top , flush closed in line with the edge of the slats
with plastic end caps. Guide-rails: With guide rails made of extruded aluminium (22*22mm /22(37)*27
mm) powder coated in standard colour. With noise suppressing inserts. With zinc-alloy stud on every
other end of each slat, which runs in the guide rails. / Guide-wires: The slats are guided through
polyamide-sheated stainless steel wire (d=2,5 mm), mounted with stainless steel tensioning device
(with spring), fixed to the top rail, and stainless steel fitting on its lower end, fixed to the extruded
aluminium tensioning brackets. Mounting brackets made of extruded aluminium. Motor drive: The
blind operates via a 230 V/AC electric motor, mounted into the top rail. The drive system has limit
stops at the top and at the bottom, and an integrated thermo-protection switch to prevent overloading
the motor. One motor per switch (no group control), without switches and central control unit / for

rod, with plastic folding handle and crank holder. Stainless steel fastening fixtures. The ’U’ or ’L’
