Academic Pathways works in collaboration with parents/guardians and teachers to ensure the Academic Achievement Goals of New York State Department of Education are met. Academic Pathways believes that by building bridges that foster strong relationships we will positively change lives, families, communities, and ultimately this nation. At Academic Pathways’ we are celebrating our eleventh school year. We are proud to state that we ended the last school year with all of our high school seniors accepted into a four year accredited college or university with over 96% received merit-based scholarships. Academic Pathways Supplementary Academic Achievement Goals Ninth and Tenth Grade Goals: All of the goals of sixth, seventh and eighth grades. PSAT preparation, ACT/SAT test preparation. Preparation for the following June 2014 examinations: Geometry, U.S History and Government, Comprehensive English, Physical Settings/Physics, Earth Science, Chemistry, Living Environment, Global History, Geography, Integrated Algebra, Spanish, French, Mathematics B. Leadership/community service/volunteerism activities provided. Eleventh and Twelfth Grade Goals: All of the goals of ninth and tenth grades. SAT and ACT examinations completed, Scholarship Boot Camp (personal statement, scholarship resume, review college admission requirements, college applications, leadership/community service/volunteerism evaluations, scholarship searches, complete college essays, and a SWOT analysis. PSAT, SAT and ACT Classes These classes will enable us to map the development of each student’s knowledge and skills in English, mathematics, reading comprehension, writing, and science-for the ACT test. We will analyze each student’s progress to identify areas of strength and areas that need more attention. Most importantly, these sessions will provide a personalized instructional plan of each student. These classes offer fun academic skill building activities in a nurturing and supportive environment. Students will learn how to use positive energy to strengthen academic performance, enhance test-taking skills, develop powerful writing skills, and develop healthy peer relationships that increase self-esteem, and inspire academic success. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Academic Pathways is making this program available to all students at a rate $269.00 per month if paid by 5th day of month, or $279.00 per month if paid after the 5th, or $100.00 per week or $25.00 per session. All payments are due before services are rendered and no refunds will be given.
