Intelligent Data Gathering Panels (IDGP) shall be compatible with the existing Honeywell DPS 6, 5600 Central Facility Management system. Provide 560 IDGP's or equal. IDGP panels shall provide 100% stand-alone operation with the exception of global demand limit. All data gathering panels and peripherals shall have 90 minutes of 100% operational battery backup. Switch to battery back up must not interrupt normal operation. All field equipment to automatically switch between primary and secondary power sources and resume normal operation without human intervention of any sort, regardless of length of time primary power is lost. IDGP shall have a full size NEMA 1 cabinet, dedicated power supply for Class A (Type 1) signaling, and pushbutton lockable door. Locks shall be keyed with same lock as existing panels. All IDGP's supplied with 120 volt 60 Hz A.C. shall be equipped with a heavy duty specification grade, 20 ampere, 120 volt, grounding type, NEMA configuration 5-15, duplex convenience receptacle for any use the owner desires. IDGP power supplies shall be modular in design - e.g. Each voltage level or each (+/-) voltage pair to be supplied by a separate, easily replaceable plug in regulator module. The IDGP shall be programmed as required to compute Kwh and BTU from field inputs. All equipment AC power shall be derived from emergency power via connection to an emergency power source if available in the building. Panels shall be factory fabricated of steel or aluminum. Panel shall be totally enclosed with sturdy hinge on front door and complete with lock. All panels shall be floor or wall mounted adjacent to system served. Mount panel in area where environmental conditions stay within the safe operating limits of the equipment inside. TRANSMISSION Unless otherwise written in specs, transmission connection of any IDGP to the existing UK 5600 system shall be done in accordance with UK FMS transmission standards and is the sole responsibility of the installing FMS contractor. 230923S04- DISTRIBUTED PROCESSORS, IDGP, 560 DGP, STAR Dated: 12/2015 Applies to: All Projects University of Kentucky Page 1 of 1
