Delivery and installation of durlum System S5.7 KS-BR rectangular metal panels.
The rectangular metal panels are attached to a special substructure [see separate position] using
spring-loaded bolts mounted on their short sides, which provide positive, stress-free, mechanical
support. Opening and dismounting can be carried out with a simple tool [e.g. a screwdriver]. Once
opened, the metal panels can be easily pushed together.
Tolerances and quality requirements according to TAIM, DIN EN 13964 and durlum Standards.

Delivery and installation of durlum substructure for System S5.7 KS-BR consisting of speciallyperforated U-1040 grid angles as transverse supports which are suspended from the structural ceiling using nonius adjustable upper and lower parts and officially approved anchors. Height below
structural ceiling: ............... mm.
The grid angles are butted together and joined using U 1041 connectors and screws.
The spacing of the grid angles must be as defined DIN 18168, DIN EN 13964, and by the structural
requirements of the system; it must be verified and specified by the customer. The grid angles are
connected to the walls using U 1042 wall brackets. The longitudinal members are C 2000 channels,
which are suspended from C 2007 channel profile hangers and fastened with M6 screws [secured
against loosening]. Alternatively, the channels can be suspended from C 2003 point hangers. The
longitudinal connections of the channels are made using C 2004 channel connectors. Wall connections are made using C 2009 wall connection brackets.
The distance between the channels must be adjusted to precisely the size of the metal panels, so
that the panels fit stress-free in the system. When carrying out the installation, it is important to ensure that the panels will be truly horizontal and fit flush.
It is only permissible to use structure components that have been approved by the manufacturer of
the metal panels. All parts are made of galvanised steel.
