The title character, Lorna (Arta Dobroshi) is an Albanian immigrant who lives in Belgium. To become
a rightful citizen of Europe, she contracted a fictitious marriage with Claudy (Jeremie Renier, known
from "Child") a drug addict and one of life’s loser.
The world where Lora lives is brutal and tough with the main principle being the rule of the jungle,
where only the strongest and most persistent will survive.
Lora then faces a second marriage with her future spouse, a wealthy Russian. The plan is simple and
elaborate – Claudy is supposed to die of a drug overdose, and then Lorna- the widow- will be able to
get married again. The young girl is just a pawn in this complicated game. Lorna takes up the
challenge to fight, being aware that she can rely just on herself.
She will have to make hard choices in the future.
