Each student must meet requirements for obtaining the signature. According to policy of the School set by the Dean, any student who does not have a signature MUST ENROLL IN THE CLASS AGAIN in the next academic year! How to obtain the signature? Students have following obligations in order to obtain the signature: 1. attendance on mid-terms and the final exam 2. attendance on tests 3. presence in class when indexes are signed (last week) There will be a total of 3 mid-terms (two mid-terms and one final exam) and 4 tests. Students may miss one mid-term or one test. PASSING THE COURSE THROUG MID-TERMS AND TESTS The exam can be passed through three midterms and four tests. All three midterms must be positively graded in order to pass the exam. Each mid-term is 25% of the final grade, in total of 75%. In the week when a mid-term is held, there will be no classes. All tests are 25% of the grade. The grading is based on mid-terms and assignments. It is calculated by taking the sum of all points in three midterms and four assignments, and dividing it by total number of points. Furthermore, all points will be adjusted according to the best result, but not more than 5%. Grading will be according to the following: 50%-69% satisfactory 70%-79% good 80%-89% very good 90%-100% excellent Important notice! All students who wish to pass the exam through mid-terms and assignments must, without exception, apply for the first available examination term. Otherwise, it means that you are not satisfied with your grade and prefer to take the entire exam again. PASSING THE COURSE THROUGH REGULAR EXAM Regular exam consists of written and oral exam. Grading on the regular exam will be as follows: 60%-69% satisfactory 70%-79% average 80%-89% very good 90%-100% excellent
