Annual Native American Celebration at New Pond Farm Saturday, November 14th We hope you will join us for a walk back in history as renowned primitive technologist Jeff Kalin and his wife Judy will be running an authentically recreated encampment, sharing a variety of demonstrations of native American life over 500 years ago. Sit by our thatched longhouse and barked wigwam and learn how arrowheads, spears and other tools were created and used. Join ethnobotonist Judy by the fire as she prepares an offering of native foods and demonstrates traditional cooking methods. The encampment will be open from 11 - 3 pm on Saturday, November 14th and Jeff and Judy will be available throughout the day to answer questions and show specific techniques.
