Continental Presents a New Product eIC+ at CIMA

 The electronic instrument cluster plus from the Business Unit CVAM demonstrates
its innovative capability.
Chongqing, China, October 11, 2012. Continental, one of the leading international
automotive suppliers, has developed eIC+, an outstanding new electronic instrument cluster
for two-wheeler application based on an identical platform for Chinese two-wheeler
manufacturers, which marks an important milestone for Continental’s two-wheeler instrument
cluster business developments in China. It was produced by the Commercial Vehicles and
Aftermarket Business Unit of Continental’s Interior Division, one of three divisions in
Continental Automotive Group. Continental is specialized in developing and producing
innovative products and systems for a modern automotive future, in which vehicles provide
individual mobility and driving pleasure consistent with driving safety, environmental
responsibility and cost-efficiency.
The product equips with advanced technologies and features. Integrated with immobilizer,
eIC+ would make your motorcycle safer in driving and prevent the theft while parking in
public area. It also has gorgeous lighting indicator and is adjusted with red, green, blue and
orange lighting in colorful gauge range, which makes sure your driving perfectly matches
your emotions. Last but not the least, it is also integrated with seamless link to EFI
(Electronic Fuel Injection), which is easy for engine error tracking and diagnosis to ensure
the maintenance more quickly in reporting. With all these highlighted features, eIC+ is an allin-one display interface solution for two-wheeler application.
Continental will start the production of new eIC+ around 1st quarter of year 2013, and is also
capable to provide customers stylish product according to customized solutions. Chinese twowheeler original equipment manufacturers and end users have once again the opportunity to
experience the state-of-art technologies coming from Continental.
