Clinical Director, Bone Marrow Transplantation Program
I am the Clinical Director of the Division of Research Immunology and Bone Marrow Transplantation and
Medical Director of the Transplant Program at the Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at Childrens
Hospital Los Angeles. In this role, I oversee the organization, function, and maintain standards of the
policies and procedures of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. The Transplant Program includes transplant
procedure of autologous product, and allogeneic, bone marrow, peripheral blood stem cell, cord blood cells,
both related and unrelated donors.
As attending physician on the Transplant I do clinical service, inpatient and outpatient, 8 months each year.

Medical Director, Bone Marrow Procurement Under Anesthesia for Bone Marrow Transplant Program.
Director, Stem Cell Procurement Laboratory and Cryopreservation and Processing Laboratory Program.
Presently, I directly oversee processing of all peripheral blood stem cell and autologous Bone Marrow cells,
which are processed and cryopreserved. Within the program, I also have responsibility of overseeing the
activities of the cell processing laboratory for solid tumors.
