CoolTan Arts is looking for an experienced, dynamic proactive person with at least 2 years experience working in communications and marketing, ideally in the context of mental health and / or voluntary sector. The role demands excellent; communication, organisation, managerial, volunteer management web, social media skills and the ability to multi-task. You will need to be personable, compassionate, self-motivated and wanting to create a transformation in mental health delivery by raising greater awareness of positive mental health among the general public. Along with a strong sense of social justice and an empathy with mental health issues, you must be able to prioritise and think strategically under pressure to meet deadlines. Purpose of Job: Raise the charity's profile amongst diverse audiences, through marketing and branding the organisation to key stakeholders and the general public. Along with managing media relations and developing media campaigns to raise awareness, oversee and supervise the production of all literature, development of website and social media. All publicity materials and communications need to reflect CoolTan’s ethos and feed into the overall strategy and business objectives. With line management responsibilities the post holder will also be expected to liaise with colleagues, volunteers and participants, be flexible and creative.
