Intro
 Hello, I’d like to welcome everyone and thank____(hostess’s name) for
hosting this party today! My name is __________and I am an Independent
Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. I am so excited to introduce
you to the Best Selling Brand of skin care and color cosmetics in the nation
for the 15th year in a row. Did you realize that Mary Kay Cosmetics has been
in business for 47 years? I am sure you’d all agree that Mary Kay Ash was
ahead of her time. Today, May Kay Inc. is one of the largest cosmetics
companies in the world with more than 2 million consultants in more than
30 markets worldwide. Our founder, Mary Kay Ash, has been recognized
by the business community as the greatest female entrepreneur in

 Before we begin, I’d like everyone to introduce themselves. Tell us your
name, how you know our hostess and 1 thing that you appreciate or admire
about her?
 You are entitled to 2 complimentary facials with Mary Kay. My goal today
is to introduce you to Mary Kay skin care which is the most important part
of any beauty care routine, don’t you agree? The second is a follow up
facial which is our “check up from the neck up” to make sure you’re

 Let’s begin by putting on your headbands.
 We know to have incredible healthy beautiful skin we need to cleanse,
exfoliate, freshen, moisturize and protect every day. Today I am going to
show you how to reveal younger looking skin every day!
Are you Ready?

Ok, Apply the 3 in 1 Timewise Cleanser gently in an upward motion
staying away from the eyes. This cleanser begins the process to reveal

and wrinkles. ON ONE EYE: Using the ring finger, apply on the brow bone
and underneath. (Have them pick up mirror & notice difference)

The next eye product we’re going to try is the Indulge Soothing Eye Gel
(APPLY ON OTHER EYE.) It contains botanical extracts that soothe on

 Busy people prioritize and get things done.
 We may not have 5 hours in a day but we may have

 Maybe you want to pay off some credit card debt, or
send your children thru private school or save for a
great vacation.
3. Don’t know a lot of people (my director only knew 4
people when she started)
 Its great to start with family and friends but we
teach you to network and build your business.
4. Not the sales type
 When you think of sales people what do you
typically think of? Pushy? We are trained to teach
about skin care, the product sells itself. This
business is about building relationships, we want
our customers to be our customers for a lifetime!
5. Family Oriented
 There are two types: One that uses her family as an
excuse and one that uses her family as a reason to
succeed. We want to work with the women who
want more for their family.

6. Decision Makers
 There is never going to be a good time to start
something new. In America today we are either in a
middle of a crisis, starting a crisis or ending a crisis.
You just have to decide to get started and work it into
your life. We tend to find time for the things that are
important to us or for the things we want to do.
I realize this isn’t for everyone, if it’s not for you that’s ok, BUT if this sounds interesting
and you want to know more, I’ll be happy to answer your questions during your
individual consultation or send you home with some information. So, please write a
number from 1-10. This is what the numbers mean: 1 means, I would never do this
business if my kids were starving and it was the last job on earth (haha) AND 10 means
“I have $100 and everything to gain, let’s do it!” You can’t write 5 because it is as close to
the top as it is the bottom and it just confuses me. (have them write their # on profile by
name)
Before we move on to color, let’s play a game! Referrals are the lifeline of my business
and one of the nicest compliments you can pay me. If you’re having fun today and you
can think of family, friends, neighbors or co-workers who are not here who are
overworked, under-pampered and you just know she’d have a great time, write her
name and phone number on the back of your profile card. You can use your cell phone!

Now, let’s move on to Color . . .
Remember, only cheeks and lips today but at your follow up appointment . . .
Start with lip color. Go ahead and apply the lipstick or lip gloss.
Apply cheek color using cotton ball.
Do eyes (if doing eyes). Guide them using the Look Card recommendations.

In closing, most women want to know “how much is it and how can I get it!” So, please
