1. North Devon Young Farmers would like to arrange an exchange with a likeminded Young Farmers group in the UK.
North Devon would like to do this as a group so we can get a good number
involved in the exchange and some of the enthusiastic members in the smaller

at Torquay & future events.
Amanda Sayers has joined the Admin Team on a temporary basis until the
end of April. She will undertake reception & admin duties on Mondays,
Wednesday & Fridays, to free up admin time to prepare packages for
Convention/AGM.

Closing date for bookings is fast approaching!
Booking Form
This course offers a fantastic opportunity for those who have already attended
Train the Trainer course to further develop their training skills. The Advanced
Train the Trainer course focuses on the following areas of learning:
 Identify learning needs at individual, occupational and organisational
levels
 Design thorough training and development programmes to meet
knowledge and/or skill development needs
 Recognise and adapt their style and designs to different learning styles
 Facilitate learning in groups
 Deliver training, utilising a range of techniques to manage learning
within the group
 Evaluate training and development sessions
 Implement training and development programmes efficiently and
effectively
 Costing training
 Monitor and maintain equal opportunities within the training function
 Evaluate and develop own practice
Successful attendees of this course will achieve the internationally recognised
ITOL qualification ‘Certificate in training and occupational learning’. As well as
meeting ITOL standards this course has been tailor developed to also cover YFC
specific training needs to further support those who deliver training within the
organisation.

This course achieved positive feedback following its delivery last year with 100%
of the participants stating that that they had achieved the learning they wanted
to achieve and that the training would benefit their own YFC training!
The closing date for bookings is the 26th March (i.e. next Friday), and it is open to
members, associates and staff – all bookings must be with me by then in order
that participants have time to complete the required pre-course work. Please
complete the attached booking form and forward with the full payment to
confirm your place.
