Notebook Grading Rubric
Requirements
 Three ring notebook
General
 Five tabbed dividers with tabs labeled in the following
(10 points)
order:
1) Handouts, 2) Class Notes, 3) Homework, 4) Quizzes &
Tests
 Papers for each section behind the tabbed divider for the
section
 Holes punched and pages physically in notebook rings
(no loose papers)
 Cross-outs are fine, but do it neatly!
 All work done in pencil
 Order:
Handouts
Section
 1st: Notebook Grading Rubric (student’s name filled
(10 points)
in)
 2nd: Syllabus
 3rd : Calendars
 Last: Any other handouts
Class Notes  Label: Date, lesson name, etc.
 Have notes for every day
Section
 Notes should be in order from oldest to most recent
(20 points)
 Label: Date worked, chapter & section number, lesson
Homework

Section
 Should be in order from oldest to most recent, no missing
(40 points)

 Work should be shown for every problem. If the
calculator is used, then the setup should be shown.
 Answers should be correct.
 Include in class quizzes and Tests

Tests
 Clearly show all work.
