Purpose
The Options Sub Group is to be convened to consider the evidence available, the required outcomes and the possible recommendations to be made for the stratification of burn care services in the United Kingdom.
It will take account of the weightings to be identified in the Benefits Options Appraisal day to be organised for the beginning of October and the needs of networking arrangements. It will also be conversant with Appendix 6 of the National Burn Care
Review Committee Report (NBCR) published by the BBA in March 2001, which suggests Non-financial Option Appraisal Criteria.
It will make recommendations to the National Burn Care Group (NBCG) for it to consider during the meeting arranged for December 21 st 2004.
Membership
At the NBCG meeting in March 2004 it was decided that the Options Sub Group would mirror the composition of the visiting teams and that the representatives would be drawn from the NBCG membership.
