Supporting documents for Schengen visas
The following documents are requested
 1 duly completed application form
 Original official passport (Ordinary, Diplomatic, Service or Student) with a validity
exceeding 3 months after your scheduled return
 Note Verbale from your Ministry or administration
 photocopy of passport(s) and previous visas + photocopy of Taskera
 1 recent colour photograph suitable for passports
Evidence destination:
 Flight reservation
 Proof of residency in France (Hotel reservation, boarding certificate)
 Letter of invitation (original)
Evidence financial means:
 Proof of sufficient financial means to cover the costs of the stay (3-month bank account
statement, saving books)
Evidence professional background:
 proof of income and socio-professional standing (letter from the employer stating
professional position, monthly salary and vacation granted, documents confirming real
estate ownership, company registration, retirement benefits)
Other evidence:
 non reimbursable handling Fee in US$ equivalent to 60 Euros
When collecting the passport, applicants must show :
 Travel insurance covering Schengen countries
 Flight Confirmation bearing proof of payment
The foregoing is not an exhaustive list, each applicant may be asked to provide additional proof
All requested evidence must be produced in original and 1 photocopy. A translation into
English, or the language of the visa department at which you are submitting your application
may also be asked for. However, handing in a complete set of documentation does not
guarantee the delivery of the requested visa.
Please be advised that the possession of a valid Schengen visa does not grant an irrevocable
right of entry to or temporary stay in the territory of the Schengen member states. You may as
well be required to present certain evidence again upon entry at the border post.
