Bio Sales Applications Engineer (m/f)
The profile of the position and the ideal candidate can be described as follows:
Position:




Sales application engineer for Bruker Nano Surface Division
Working out of our Karlsruhe Office
Supporting our scanning probe microscopy (AFM/SPM) systems within life science applications
Reporting to the European sales applications manager
Duties:






Demonstrating our AFM/SPM system for bio prospects
Handling the bio lab in Karlsruhe
Supporting the European sales team with technical skills and visits to customers throughout Europe
Promoting Bruker Nano Surfaces Division solutions for bio applications through workshops and
conferences
Supporting the local sales application engineer in the bio field
Supporting our existing bio users
Qualification:




Strong scientific background in biology
Skills in preparing and studying biological samples with AFM/SPM
PhD level
Operation of cell culture and handling optical microscopies are highly desirable
Person:







Positive attitude, good communication and presentation skills
Passion for cutting-edge technologies & willingness to continuously learn
Ability to promote outstanding new analytical tools to bio market
Ability to establish a strong working relationship with customers and Bruker team
Self-organized
Flexibility and willingness to travel half the time
fluent English both written and spoken
