BD Celebrates Grand Opening of
North American Professional Service Center in San Antonio, Texas
San Antonio, TX (June 3, 2011) – BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a leading global
medical technology company, today celebrated the grand opening of its new North American
Professional Service Center in San Antonio, Texas. The site currently employs 125 BD
associates and is expected to bring a total of nearly 300 new jobs to the Alamo City when fully
operational.
BD has established the facility to provide various services, including finance, procurement,
human resources, supply chain and customer services for its North American operations. The
establishment of the North American Professional Service Center is part of the Company’s
global strategy to establish four professional services headquarters throughout the world.
