INDUCTION NOTICE FOR POSTGRADUATE TRAINING
Application are invited on prescribed forms for Post-graduate training i.e. FCPS (Part-II) &
MCPS (Affiliated with College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan) in the following specialities at
RMC/ALLIED HOSPITALS i.e. Holy Family Hospital, Benazir Bhutto Hospital and District Headquarters

Eligibility:





The candidates must possess MBBS or equivalent degree registered with PMDC.
The candidates applying for FCPS must have passed the FCPS (Part-I) in the relevant specialty.
Candidates must have completed one year house job after graduation in any recognized
institution.
The candidates applying in specialities or Surgery & Allied (i.e. Urology, Orthopedic and
Neurosurgery) should have completed their 2 years basic training in Surgery / Intermediate
Module.
Preference shall be given to the Punjab Domicile candidates. The candidates of other province
shall be considered only if the seats remain vacant after accommodating the Punjab domiciled
candidates.
General Conditions:









The application forms (free of cost) can be obtained from the Admission Offices of RMC/Allied
Hospitals, Rawalpindi. The form can also be downloaded from official website of RMC at
www.rmc.edu.pk.com.
Selection shall be made strictly on merit criteria approved by the Selection Committee of the
institution.
The selection will be made only against the seats available at the time of interview.
Monthly stipend as admissible under the Government of Punjab Notification shall be paid to the
selected FCPS trainees during their training period.
No stipend shall be paid to MCPS Trainees as per orders of Health Department.
Other terms and conditions can also be obtained from the concerned hospital.
Chairman S election Committee shall be final authority for selection of PGTs.
Last date of submission of applications in the office of the Principal, RMC/Allied Hospitals, New
Teaching Block, Rawalpindi is 01st July, 2013. The applications received after the due date
shall not be considered in any case.
The interviews of the shortlisted candidates shall be held on 15th July, 2013 at 09:00 a.m in the
Academic Council Hall of Rawalpindi Medical College, New Teaching Block, Rawalpindi for which
no TA/DA shall be given.
