Trade Science Inc seeks e-applications for the positions of Editors for
BIOTECHNOLOGY : AN INDIAN JOURNALcommencing May 2010. To select Editors,
the Trade Science Inc has created a Search Committee to review
applications, which will be due May,2010. An appointment is expected to
be made by end of May,2010. When successful candidates will embark on a
transitional period, with full responsibility for the editorship to start
June,2010.

The BioTechnology : An Indian Journal is devoted to the rapid publication
of fundamental research papers on all phases of biotechnology. Topics
include: nucleic acids, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry,
cellular biology, physiology, applied microbiology, food science,
biochemical engineering, bioprocess engineering, medical biotechnology.
The Journal publishes
Short Communication, Review or Full Paper.
The Journal is currently published 4 times per year and is indexed in all
reputed abstracts systems.
About the Editor positions
Editors will be appointed for a 3 years term.
Applicants should provide following information by filling form :
1. Academic & Publishing record
Evidence of strong academic achievement and robust list of publications
in relevant fields
2. Editorial Experience
Experience as an Editor, Associate Editor of an indexed journal in a
related field.
3. Content and format development
Perspective on developing the journal&rsquo;s content in line with the
requirements of the field and interest of the (current and potential)
readership, through the editorial structure and process, outreach to
authors, strategic development of the journal, and deployment of
web-based features available through the publisher&rsquo;s platform.
4. Statement of Editorial Vision
Why he/she is interested in this position and what is his/her vision
for the journal.
